About Us
Several years ago, Arianna Niccola Smith was taken to Tea by some of her closest friends. She and her friends were so impressed by the experience they made it their favorite spot whenever there was a special occasion. Arianna then invited her mom Claudia and sisters Shannon & Lisa to have Tea. It became a wonderful place to have quiet, enjoyable conversations. Claudia and her daughters became so delighted with the concept of "Tea" they began to dream of having their own Tea House. All they had to do was to convince Allan (husband and father). He was not at all interested in it until they began dragging him along. He soon saw the merits and the uniqueness of the Tea concept. It became immediately evident to the Niccola family how important a place conducive to building relationships could become in the lives of people, a special place where guests could enjoy each others company in a quiet, genteel setting. This would indeed be unique, relevant and healing in today's stress filled society.
The story of finding the perfect location, funding of the project, the support of family and friends and the many many doors that began to open, is quite fascinating. The Niccolas desired a mission statement that would reflect their goal and purpose for the Tea House on Los Rios.
