Hibiscus

This antioxidant rich tea, high in Vitamin A, C and beta-carotene, is rosy and citrus is flavor, with many people saying it tastes closer to a tart lemonade, though its color is strikingly red. Often blended with other fruits and herbs, this pure hibiscus leaf tea makes for a nice break from the ordinary.

I gave this a try because of a friends recommendation. I’m looking for ways to cut back on sugar and this tea has been really helpful. It’s a little tart especially if you brew it strong, but it’s nice to have strong flavor! It’s super good iced and if I want a little sweetness I’ve been adding honey or agave nectar.
